President's Message

Dear IN AHEAD Members,

Welcome to Indiana AHEAD! We are excited to continue our work of providing professional development and facilitate communication among disability service providers and others interested in disability-related issues in order to support the implementation of services to disabled students across Indiana universities and colleges.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to the executive board for their continued dedication and hard work in helping us achieve our goals for this year. One of the key initiatives we’ve launched is our monthly newsletter, designed to keep our members connected, share valuable resources for disability professionals, highlight professional development webinars, and keep you informed about the board’s ongoing work.

In addition, we are excited to reintroduce free webinars for our members, which will take place every other month. Be on the lookout for more details regarding upcoming webinars. If you are interested in presenting a webinar, please feel free to submit a proposal through the link provided in this newsletter—we would love to have you share your expertise! Furthermore, the Indiana AHEAD website now features a community forum, fostering connection among our members. The executive board is also actively updating our social media platforms to enhance communication and ensure you stay informed about IN AHEAD events.

Lastly, I’d like to remind you about the National AHEAD annual Equity & Excellence Conference, which will be held in Denver, Colorado, from July 14 to July 18. Conference registration will open in mid-March, so be sure to check out this incredible opportunity for professional development and networking.
